"A Vast, Cosmic Ocean"

A cosmic ocean of energy -

All souls rolled into one –

The sea from which we come from

And return when we are done.

For just as a glass of water

Is no less from the sea,

Each and every one of us

Is part of the collective “we”.

And just as ice and vapor

are water in different forms,

Our flesh and bone are just

What we inherit when we are born.

But, from energy we come from,

And energy we’ll be again

In the vast cosmic ocean

From where we all begin.
